Back not many years ago, I used to pitch a tent just a tiny 90 min drive out of Atlantic City. It was no big deal for me to sit in my auto on Fridays and hit the Strip for a while. I was able to wager at whichever time I wanted, and I admit that I became a little spoiled in that account.
